The Right Paw offers a comprehensive Therapy Dog Program for professionals in Central Massachusetts that believe their work environment or community would benefit from a therapy dog. Therapy dogs are not Assistance Dogs and do not have public access. Learn more here.
Our Program
Our therapy dog program is an intense, 2-year training program that trains you and a dog from puppyhood all the way up to therapy dog testing. We work with dogs and handlers that we have personally evaluated and deemed suitable for therapy work.
Ideal human candidates are first responders or other professionals who work with the public. Dogs are commonly placed in police departments, fire departments, hospitals, and court houses.
