As with all of our classes, TIP can fill three weeks prior to the starting date. Pre-Registration along with current vaccination proof is required. All dogs must be appropriately vaccinated for their age in order to participate in class. We require Kennel Cough vaccine and Rabies for dogs over 6 months of age.
TIP level #1has been a long time coming. This is the perfect class to be able to "Take it on the road" with the guidance of your instructor. This is the RAISE THE BAR IN YOUR TRAINING class. This class will benefit not only our pet owners but the competitively minded students as well. Everyone can benefit from training in public. Class works on responsible ownership, appropriate behavior in public, obedience in all locations with the presence of varied distractions, the real world! Great next step after your High School training, CGC or in conjunction with one of our more advanced classes such as our TDI! TIP level #1 is a five week course, meeting one hour per week in planned and various locations.
Through our many years of offering group & private obedience classes, our students have often said,
" My dog is great here at the facility, but all bets are off when we go to the park" ... THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU! Class locations change from week to week.
**Dogs are required to have graduated from our High School Class OR have been evaluated by our trainer and approved for the TIP class.
Our goal is to help you achieve the level of obedience you desire from your dog... but we want to be certain that you, your dog and the public are prepared for an enjoyable, productive and a safe training experience. As a training facility, we feel it is our responsibility and our mission, to represent all dogs and training facilities in a positive light within the general populous.
TIP Level #1 could be the first big step (of many steps involved) training you dog for true SERVICE work. Our teachings has the ADA (American Disability Act), ADI (Assistance Dog International), CCI (Canine Companion for Independence), ESA (Emotional Service Dog) and the IAADP ( International Association of Assistance Dog Partners )in addition to our federal, state and local Service Dog laws in mind. We are not supporters of the extensive and crippling complications caused by fake service dogs. If this is your goal ( to train your dog to be a working dog) be prepared for extensive training and we can help you get there!
