Stephanie completed our two year apprenticeship program over four years ago and 'hit the ground running' ! Stephanie is currently our Head Trainer and she is available for Private sessions and Group Obedience Classes. Stephanie has excellent communication skills, is empathetic towards our clients needs and extremely observant. All things necessary to be a successful obedience instructor. Through the years Stephanie has worked with many 'rescues' making her sole goal finding them their 'forever home'. These dogs not only needed basic obedience skills but also needed someone to work on their physical and emotional needs, which in turn made them more adoptable. It was through these experiences with these dogs, including a challenging wolf hybrid dog named Fletcher, that she came to realize her affirmation for working with dogs. Stephanie was ready for some changes in her life and wanted to include her love of working with dogs and of course their people. She spent much time during those years here at The Right Paw as a student, so it seemed the natural 'next step' to go through our apprenticeship program. We are so happy she did! Stephanie recently said goodbye to her beloved Pug Max and her Boxer Gus who have passed over the Rainbow bridge. Her newest 'project' is Tuka, a male Doberman (yes another 'rescue') and her Old English Bull dog Peggy! Steph is grateful for the support she receives from her loving husband Jimmy and her family. Stephanie is a certified tester through the AKC capable of judging / testing for your Canine Good Citizen and your Tricks title! She is a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is constantly working on furthering her list of professional titles through educational seminars and clinics for dog professionals! In her spare time she can be found showing and earning titles on her dogs in the Sport of Dogs....Stephanie we are proud to call you part of The Right Paw Pack!....
