Stephanie Duca

Stephanie completed our three year apprenticeship program back in 2012 and 'hit the ground running' and hasn't stopped  since ! She is currently our Head Trainer and is available for Private sessions and many of our Group Obedience Classes. Stephanie has excellent communication skills, is empathetic towards our clients needs and extremely observant.  All things necessary to be a successful  obedience instructor!

Through the years Stephanie has worked with many 'rescues' making her sole goal finding them their 'forever homes'.  These dogs not only needed basic obedience skills but also needed someone to work on  their physical and emotional needs, which in turn made them more adoptable.  She spent much time during those years here at The Right Paw as a student. It was through these experiences with these dogs that she came to realize her desire to work with dogs professionally,  so it seemed the natural 'next step' to go through our apprenticeship program.  We are so happy she did!

Stephanie has owned and raised many dogs, some of the breeds include; Pug,  Boxer, Great Dane, Doberman Pinscher, Old English Bull dog, English Bull dog and even a Wolf hybrid!  Many have passed over the Rainbow bridge through the years. Her newest 'projects' are Tuka, a male Doberman and Peggy her Old English Bull dog!  (of course both were rescue dogs)

Peggy and Stephanie have achieved several titles in the short time since Peggy has joined their family. Peggy holds her CGC (Canine Good Citizen), RN (Rally Novice), RI (Rally Intermediate), RA (Rally Advanced), Tricks Dog Novice and her AD (Achiever Dog) Title! The AKC recognizes multiple titles as the achievement that it is!

Tuka also has earned his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and his Tricks Dog Novice with more to come ...

Stephanie is a certified tester herself through the AKC (American Kennel Club) and is capable of judging, testing and certifying  you and  your Canine in achieving your Canine Good Citizen and your Tricks titles! She is a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is constantly working on furthering her list of professional titles through educational seminars and clinics for dog professionals!

In her spare time she can be found showing and earning  titles on her dogs  or working hip deep in her beautiful Koi pond.

Steph is  grateful for the support she receives from her loving husband Jimmy and her whole very large family...

Stephanie we are proud to call you part of The Right Paw Pack!

It has been our pleasure to be part of your successful journey into the 'dog world'!
