Our breeding program has excelled in doing just that. Excellent temperaments, good health and proper structure all add up to the success of performance in the field and as a loved family pet. At Belhaven Kennels we are more concerned with the quality of our pups rather than the quantity. All our litters are planned with the puppy’s future in mind. Because of this commitment we have a limited breeding program. We employ a screening process with an extensive contract (for our pup’s wellbeing). We believe in a proactive place in our puppy’s families. We help support the families with their training and teaching of their pups. It is in the pup’s best interest for us to help and support the new family with their new puppy…and we love doing it. Many of our puppies still come for visits and our family circle has broadened through the years to include many happy dog owners. Go to Photo Album All our breeding dogs have been tested and certified/cleared for hip, elbow, patella and eye problems. We do this to help ensure the healthiest puppies we can. Puppies are all health certified and given their first set of vaccines by a licensed veterinarian, prior to going to their new homes. Darlynn Tracy-Oberg had been breeding dogs since 1987. The Belhaven kennel name has been in place since 1999, in order to separate the breeding program from the RIGHT PAW Obedience school. (978) 464-0429 Our pups are $900.00 (a one hundred dollar non-refundable deposit is required). When we breed, we prefer to have springtime litters, as to set everyone up for success!!
