The Right Paw Obedience School is a COMPLETE TRAINING FACILITY, offering Group classes such as Kindergarten Puppy training, Drop-in Intermediate, Rally-O, Obedience competition and Breed Handling Classes as well as Private Consultations and Behavioral Evaluations. Our group classes have a maximum of eight dogs per class and we encourage  the whole family to attend! Both our group classes and private consultations are held at our easily accessible, climate controlled facility. The option of working with students in the comfort of their own home, is also available.

Teaching people to train their dogs

The Right Paw Obedience School believes in teaching people how to train their dogs. After all, we don't live with your dog...you do. We've often been called 'dog trainers' but we are really 'people teachers'. Our instructors have a strong behavior interest where the primary training focus is based on a positive reinforcement/operant conditioning. This method has continued to yield successful results since 1989 when Darlynn Tracy-Oberg

started the bussiness.

We work hard to achieve our goals

  • To educate, inform and enlighten all dog owners that inquire
  • To share our experience and knowledge with every individual
  • To assist each student in achieving their personal goals
  • To keep our customers satisfied
  • To increase public awareness
  • To introduce the 'sport' of dogs to all that are interested
  • To teach by example, training should be fun for both the dog and the handler
  • To dispel the general consensus that obedience school is 'remedial training'
  • To show that training is for everyone
  • Ultimately, saving lives by accomplishing the above
